If you want some Teochew style porridge or economy mix rice in a comfortable restaurant, you can try out this restaurant. Impressed there are quite a lot of quality dishes to choose from the counter but of course, higher price compared with economy style except it serve in individual plate given to you. Taste is not bad and I like their roasted pork and roasted duck very tender and delicious. Pay for first bowl of rice or porridge - Rm$1.50 per person and you can refill rice / porridge unlimited. All the dishes selection depend on variety prices. It's good to eat with group or family where you can select 3 or 4 dishes with refillable rice and porridge. Overall, the price still expensive but the dishes are rich and tasty.

9/4/25 Vegetarian 4 dishes today, 1 barley RM24.50 Feb 2025 The broccoli stir fry is crunchy, salty enough and a perfect match for plain porridge. Still keep coming back here for an easy meal The interior is dark, would be more comfortable if more lights added. Jan 2025 Was billed for 2 porridges even though only 1 person ate. And an extra slice of omelette even though only ordered one. Check your bill before leaving. Been coming here for many years now. Interior getting increasingly dark and gloomy. Lighting is bad. Food is alright, we know our favourites by now and stick to them.

The food here give very big portion and cheap price.. also very tasty and not salty! Even if eat without porridge or rice, won't feel salty at all.. the rice and porridge is free refill! I didn't know that until I finished eating.. so the downside of it is the staff don't talk much, won't introduce u things, and no menu.. another downside is the toilet very slippery, careful..

We dined at this bustling restaurant where finding a table proved fortunate amidst the crowd. The menu boasted an array of small dishes, with the added perk of allowing refills for porridge and rice. Overall, the food was delicious. However, securing a parking spot might pose a challenge due to the numerous nearby restaurants in the area.

This is a TeoChew restaurant with variety choice of classic dishes. We ordered braised meat rice and few dishes today. The braised egg and braised meat is hard and less tasty. I think this is over-cooked.The salted bean fish also taste hard and not easy to bite. They leave their home made chilli sauce, vinegar garlic sauce and small peppers on the display table without cover. This is good that we could pick our favourite sauce as we like. It would be better if they can put on the cover to avoid contamination. The air cond was not on at the noon time, we were sweating after half an hour sitting inside the shop. The overall environment is considered clean. But, it would be better if the light could be brighter.

If you are thinking of eating good porridge. This is one good restaurant that sells porridge with dishes in Bandar Puteri Puchong. I have visited this restaurant many times for lunch and dinner. There are two sections to the restaurant, one with air-condition and one without. There are many dishes that the restaurant sells, such as steamed minced pork, fried sweet anchovies with peanuts, deep fried fish, salted egg, salted vege and so on. You can order as many dishes as you like and the price will be calculated accordingly. The porridge here is free flow and is counted based on head count. There are white rice available here as well. Parking could be found in front of the restaurant with a payment of RM0.50 per hour on weekdays. There are two rows of parking by the street where the restaurant is located.
